Meetings for the New Year

Same. last year we were warned the morning sunday would revert to the hall schedule rotation if covid ended. Our coming turn was for late afternoon.

We hide behind family business. It is my business to see my son physically and mentally well, fed, sheltered, has transportation and the means to work on it, and an addressed to use if needed. It is also my business to see that his siblings, mother, grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts know of his welfare and vice versa.
I do not shun anyone DF, though it may curtail association. As long as they are not a danger. Whether they reenter or not is their choice. I do have to be careful to not encourage staying out lest it bite me.
We do see people who would not pee on a DF person if he was on fire. I am not that type, known for strong sympathy and kindness which I pride myself on and work at it
I have never seen anyone DF for associating. Marked yes.
Obviously I am not a good witness though. I'm on here and human

in a recent post ffghost made a comment about how they're always inserting modern concepts into biblical narratives to make it relatable to jw's organization.

here are some that come to mind:.

- the capitalized term "governing body" when referring to the older men in jerusalem (really just another group of christians that paul outspokenly disagreed with and didn't look to for approval).

People were either big corporate type businessmen ( Peter fishing, Lydia), or disconnected hermits (Jesus had to find a tree, cut it down, haul it into town, to make things).
Those bookbags would trip anyone😊
Fleeing Jerusalem they worried about the congregation records being safe. I think the congregation would be way more close than these things passed off today so they would know the works and personalities.
Jonahs sister would have been married at 14, not living at home.

millions are held in restraint, however, in institutions of another kind, religious organizations.... by his prophet god expressed his disgust with such methods and those who practice them.

I had always envisioned camels hair Bedouin tents. You sure they didn't have a contract with Walmart? According to talks and WT that is what Abraham used.

Maybe I remembered wrong that they directed to tone it down.
Any you old ones remember the cemetery work on (USA ) memorial day? I never went but it was done. Maybe put a tract on each marker like they do the flags.🙄

In fairness there were instructions to not send anything to strangers. Probably after this or another instance.
Also in fairness there are still these going on. Letters and brochures mailed, and the Facebook preaching, even a few who will approach grave visitors.

Just like no pressure to get vaccinated.
I actually hear that jehovah created diseases and the herbal remedies to cure them. And He invented vaccines so they are safe.
Can anyone tell me how immune response from getting covid does not work, but a decoy vaccine does? And then after vaccination you still get and transmit covid?

The regular dimbulbs are following directions and not watching news so they have to be told. The local food was claimed to be from the branch. And little of it was edible.
I have almost as much at home as in the " pantry".
